9. Betty was cremated and her ashes were scattered on the waters of Lake Catchacoma, Ontario, during a service conducted by John Lee attended by Lynn and her children. John created an oil painting of the scene.
10. Guests of the wedding painted the church interior in the days prior to the wedding. The old (1843) stone methodist church was built by the same mason who built the stone house in 1829 where Scott and Elizabeth now live in Isle LaMotte

34. Frank Fletcher Beach played first trumpet for 20th Century Fox Pictures. Played for Andy Williams and Dean Martin Show.
35. Brock was brought home from the hospital at eight days old to our wood stove heated loft in Vermont. This particular January was the coldest on record, and the temperature inside was a chilly -22 degrees. He was kept wrapped in a parka and blankets for one a half days - the time required to raise the temperature to 65 degrees.
Brock was baptised by John Lee, his Grandfather in John's parish in Stanbridge East.
